Deep Rest

at Work

Unlock Deeper Ease and Greater Capacity

What would it be like to lead from a place of embodied presence, radical clarity, profound ease, and coherence?

What is Deep Rest at Work?

When we slow down and breathe to reconnect and become present, we balance our autonomic nervous system by shifting our physiology from states of high stress and chronic tension to spacious ease and flow. In states of deeply rested ease, we're able to better regulate our emotional responses and access a radical clarity and intuition that guides our decision-making. By cultivating embodied awareness, we become more attuned to the unprocessed emotions, beliefs and thought patterns underlying the stress, tension, and resistance held in our nervous system, and in our team's nervous system, which diminishes our capacity to be fully present and available for what really matters.

Less tension. More ease.

Ease doesn't imply a lack of effort; it's a way of being that expands our capacity to respond to challenges and uncertainty with emotional steadiness, clarity, curiosity and connection and the right amount of effort. With ease, we learn to hold space for complexity, ambiguity, paradox and uncertainty during times of transition without feeling the need to grip tightly or control the situation. We embrace discomfort, trusting our inherent embodied intelligence and creative response to guide us during difficult conversations and challenging decisions.

Presence over performance.

When we choose greater ease and presence, we reduce the risk of burnout, exhaustion, and overwhelm. We meet ourselves and our experiences as they are, without over-efforting or adding further friction, urgency, resistance, judgement or tension. When we ease ourselves into our embodied leadership presence, we expand our capacity and deepen our impact.

The Deep Rest at Work approach

The Deep Rest at Work approach connects you to your embodied intelligence and helps your nervous system restory its relationship to stress and exhaustion, so you can experience greater ease, freedom, flow and aliveness in your life. Deep Rest at Work fosters a culture of embodied leadership, connection, belonging, growth, and innovation. Drawing on science-backed tools and practices, Deep Rest at Work offers a more grounded, connected, and sustainable approach to embodied leadership presence in the workplace.

Our collaboration will focus on four key areas: embodied presence, nervous system regulation/ reorganisation, radical self-inquiry, and Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR), also known as Yoga Nidra. Together, these areas create a foundation of embodied safety, emotional resilience and centredness that will enable you to evolve and transform, and lead from a place of integration, connection, intentional action and deeper alignment through purpose and meaning.

EMBODIED LEADERSHIP PRESENCE

Cultivate somatic awareness and interoception to reconnect and attune to others. Lean into your embodied wisdom and presence to help guide your decision-making.

NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION

Calm and soothe your nervous system through somatic breathwork to reduce stress and anxiety, and welcome renewed clarity and perspective.

RADICAL SELF-INQUIRY

Identify and rewire habitual behavioural patterns, beliefs, internalised narratives and self-imposed limitations held in your subconscious mind. Align with your inner values and integrity.

NON-SLEEP DEEP REST

Relax into deeply rested ease. Unwind habitual tension, stress, anxiety and exhaustion held in the body and nervous system. Integrate new ways of being and receive deeper insight.

Embodied Leadership Presence

Cultivate somatic intelligence, deeper self awareness and interoception— the ability to track your internal state by sensing and understanding the body's sensations and draw on your inherent wisdom to help guide your decision making by:

Noticing the physical cues of stress in the body.

Regulating your nervous system.

Understanding your unique stress patterns.

Recognising what enables and supports you in the workplace.

Identifying your energy leaks and triggers that impact your decision-making.

Holding space for complexity, uncertainty and nuance with ease.

Embodying your core values and chosen narrative.

Capacity

Expand your capacity for more rest, ease, energy, joy, flow, focus, and emotional resilience at work.

Cultivate inner resources of emotional stability, steadiness, embodied safety, self-trust, and intuitive connection.

Deepen your capacity to hold space for and skillfully navigate conflict, stress, and uncertainty, and engage in courageous conversations in the workplace.

Make clear, aligned, and grounded decisions by developing a deeper awareness of your desires, needs, limits and strengths.

Navigate transitions, new challenges, and possibilities from a place of centeredness, clarity, confidence, curiosity and creative responsiveness.

Connection

Communicate with clarity, sensitivity and inner coherence.

Enhance your work relationships by cultivating emotional attunement, deeper listening, and honest communication.

Personal Agency

Identify and rewire habitual behavioural and emotional patterns, life themes, subconscious beliefs, and internalised narratives that create unnecessary tension and resistance, hindering workplace performance.

Vision

Cultivate curiosity and receptivity to new ways of thinking.

Develop emotional and psychological flexibility to see from multiple perspectives and hold the tension of competing truths and emotional complexity.

Access deeper insights and creative, innovative solutions.

Create meaningful work by taking intentional action aligned with your purpose, integrity, vision, and values.

Deep Restoration

Reduce overwhelm, exhaustion, and tiredness.

Unwind and release deeper tensions, stresses and resistance held in the nervous system.

Minimise burnout, overwhelm, stress and anxiety.

Improve the quality of your focus, memory, concentration and attention.

Integrate transition and change.

Rewire and consolidate new discoveries and behaviours.

Relax into your embodied presence.

Let's Work Together

One-to-One Embodied Leadership Coaching

Real change doesn't happen in your mind—it happens when your body and nervous system have the capacity to do things differently. Long-lasting meaningful change requires a gradual approach to avoid overwhelming the nervous system.

In one-to-one Embodied Leadership Coaching, we move at the pace of the body. When we move slowly with intention and ease, we go further.

With conscious attention, we work with your nervous system to rewire your stress response and adaptive behavioural patterns, so that, instead of defaulting to shut down, avoidance, or overdrive, you're able to invite curiosity, calm, and connection.

When you reorganise your nervous system, you transform the quality of your attention and renew your seeing—your perceptions and perspective will start to shift, and you'll open up to new ways of being.

You'll begin to show up for what matters most. Your embodied leadership presence will feel more alive, centred, spacious, and coherent.

‘Who we are determines how we see.

And how we see determines what we find.

Attention brings the world into being.

How we attend changes who we are.'

Book a Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) session for your team

In Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR), we learn to pause and centre ourselves in the space between 'stimulus and response' so we're no longer making decisions from a place of reactivity, anxiety, overwhelm, stress and fatigue.

NSDR induces profound relaxation and restoration, shifting high-stress states, or 'fight-or-flight' sympathetic nervous system dominance, to deep, spacious calm flow states, or 'rest-and-digest' parasympathetic activation.

Drawing on cognitive neuroscience and neurobiology, my unique style of NSDR invites psychological flexibility, radical self-inquiry, and creative flow states that bring deep insight and renewed perspective. Non-Sleep Deep Rest rewires new pathways of emotional resilience and greater capacity.

One hour of deep restoration can feel like four hours of blissful sleep. NSDR is highly accessible and effortless to practice. No previous experience is needed. There's no special technique to learn and master over time.

The rest is easy. The benefits are immediate.

'Rest nurtures creativity, which nurtures activity.

Activity nurtures rest, which sustains creativity.

Each draws from and contributes to the other.'

ABOUT

Hello, I'm Navreet

I’m Navreet Chawla. I'm an experienced NSDR/Yoga Nidra and Somatic practitioner, with a strong background in somatic and trauma healing and training in embodied presence for live performance. My unique approach combines ancient wisdom with the latest insights from cognitive neuroscience and neurobiology and draws on over 20 years of experience in holistic healing as both a pharmacist and homeopath.

I've spent most of my professional life at the borderlands between biomedicine and homeopathy—holding the tension between two opposing perspectives on healing, bridging the two worlds of the material and the invisible, whilst guiding tender souls in the liminal space of uncertainty between the ‘two kingdoms of the ill and well.’ During my time as a homeopathic pharmacist at The Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine, I listened and tended to many patients’ stories, developing a holistic awareness of how 'ease and dis-ease' evolves in the body. I witnessed profound healing through the mind-body connection. I observed how patients’ beliefs and perceptions of their experiences influenced their health and healing outcomes, and how the unconscious and the nervous system expresses stories through symptoms and sensations in the body. My interest in the neuroscience of storytelling led to further study and training in Narrative Medicine, Narrative Therapy, and true storytelling on stage.  As a storyteller, I’m most interested in how our unconscious inner core narrative drives our experience of ourselves and the world. Nervous system awareness allows us to restore and reorganise ourselves from the inside out, so we can embody a more empowering narrative guided by our core values, intention, and deeper meaning.
